Bilateral cooperation programme between the Academy of Sciences of Moldova and the National Authority for Scientific Research of Romania.

Partner institutions in project implementation:
– University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Cluj-Napoca, Romania;
– Botanical Garden (Institute) of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova.

Project objectives:
• Evaluation of the national legislation on green spaces and its harmonization with the EU legislation;
• Highlighting plant species able to develop and produce fertile seeds in conditions with different levels of pollution;
• Highlighting plant species with high capacity of absorption and accumulation of noxious gases, solid particles and heavy metals;
• Development of technologies of rapid multiplication of plants for the planning and creation of green areas.
